![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It's absurd but even a 6600GT and an Athlon 64 can't give a completely solid 60FPS in Unreal at high res. I know this sounds like an unnecessarily convoluted thing to do, but at this point high end AGP cards that'll run in Windows 9x are becoming a problem to source. It seems to me that at least in principle it should be possible to modify an AGP Pro card to fit in a regular slot and then rig up a way to attach a molex or PCIe power connector and run the card that way. Is there any way to use an AGP Pro card in a regular AGP slot? As I understand it there's no difference between the two in terms of the data links, it's just a matter of AGP Pro having extra pins for power. ![]()
